Interior AHEC goals include an annual survey of health care providers throughout our region to determine continuing education needs.  Courses offered through our office or in partnership with other health care organizations are intended to reduce professional isolation and provide opportunities to keep skills current.  Basically, we are striving to know:

     o  Who is out there? (various disciplines)
     o  Where are you working? (size and type of facility or community)
     o  What do you need in the way of continuing education?
     o  How can Interior AHEC help you achieve your professional goals?

Our 2009 survey is currently underway.  Help us to help you - call or email to let us know who you are and what your interests are.  We will be glad to send you notification of classes we are aware of, or that we are sponsoring.

Rural Health Care Providers, Take Note:

Interior AHEC has begun a pilot program to provide continuing education classes online.  Through collaboration with Swank HealthCare, nationally certified classes are available in various disciplines from nursing to medical records and administration, to occupational therapy and patient education.  We invite you to join the program!  Take a look at the course offerings:   www.swankhealth.com and then give us a call or email to receive your personal login.
